GoPro's Drone to be Released in Early 2016
Back in October, GoPro uploaded test footage captured with a Quadcopter and stabilization prototype to their YouTube account.
On December 8th GoPro posted a blog post and a teaser video for KARMA, a new product in the UAV technology category they registered as a trademark in August.
This will be the company's foray into drones and the strong GoPro brand name will no doubt make them a major challenger against DJI, currently the most established and well known drone company who recently released the OSMO stabilized handheld camera.
GoPro has yet to release any specifications or feature details on this new product but they are clearly ready to start generating the hype to capture the market. Clearly they are eager to let the world know the GoPro Drone is imminent.
